Rockingham man arrested after West End investigation

A man from Rockingham is facing charges following an investigation conducted by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department in West End.

Authorities were informed of a theft at a West End home on Feb. 22.

Adam Griewahn, 22, was arrested 12 days later on Tuesday, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a statement issued to Sandhills Sentinel.

Griewahn was charged with one count of felony larceny and one count of felony possession of stolen goods/property. He was placed at the Moore County Detention Center and is expected in Moore County court on Thursday.

The suspect was also served on a failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny out of Richmond County. He is due in Richmond County court on March 28.

Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
