A Southern Pines man was arrested on multiple drug charges after investigators executed a search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of West New Hampshire Avenue on October 29.
Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office conducted the search and seized suspected cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, marijuana paraphernalia, and more than $400 in U.S. currency.
As a result of the investigation, Ronald Barnes, 38, of Southern Pines, was arrested and is facing charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer.
Barnes was booked into the Moore County Detention Center without bond, pending his court appearance on November 13 in the Moore County District Court.
All individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
