A 19-year-old man from Southern Pines faces three charges after being arrested by Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said his department received a report a year ago of someone breaking into a home in Vass on Aug. 30, 2022.
“On August 10, 2023 Sheriff’s investigators arrested Kamarean Semaj Hancock, age 19, of Southern Pines, North Carolina,” said Fields in a statement.
Hancock was charged with one count of felony breaking or entering, one count of felony larceny, and one count of felony safecracking.
He was placed under a $15,000 secured bond, is due in court on Aug. 17 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
