Morganton Park South shopping center’s anchor store will open in October. The 147,700 square feet Target is set to open on Oct. 13.
The Southern Pines store will have a Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, and unlimited same-day delivery with a Target Circle 360 membership. It will also have an entire grocery section.
“We’re excited to bring an easy, affordable and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the Southern Pines community with this new Target store,” said Target representative Loni Monroe to Sandhills Sentinel on Monday.
Construction on the $80 million shopping center began in the fall of 2022.
The shopping center, located off Morganton Road, hosts a Five Below discount store, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy Performance Center, HomeGoods, Half-Moon Outfitters and BIBIBOP Asian Grill. More stores and restaurants are coming soon.
Target is located at 305 Carolina Green Parkway.
