ALE Gaming Division executes search warrant at Aberdeen Lucky Star

The Gaming Division with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) executed a search warrant at Lucky Star on Sandhills Blvd. in Aberdeen Wednesday afternoon, according to the Aberdeen Police Department. ALE is the “lead enforcement agency for the state’s alcoholic beverage control, lottery and tobacco laws.”

The cause of the search was not provided.

Police tape cordoned off the parking lot, and the store was shut down during the search. ALE agents allowed the store to reopen after the search was completed.

The Aberdeen Police Department and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
