Bogeys expand Fan First Experience with new partnership

The Sandhills Bogeys are introducing a new transportation ticket experience for specific games by collaborating with two local businesses.

The Bell Tree Tavern, Sandhills Trolley Company, and the Sandhills Bogeys are teaming up to provide shuttle services with ticket purchase on select dates. Sandhills Trolley will provide a shuttle from The Bell Tree Tavern, located at 155 Northeast Broad Street in Southern Pines, to the Bogey Ballpark at Sandhills Community College.

“This is all part of our Fan First initiative,” said Jay Francis, general manager of the Bogeys. “Partnering with the Bell Tree and Sandhills Trolley Company to enhance our fan experience was a perfect fit.”

“We’re thrilled,” said Sandhills Trolley owner Leanna Allen. “We’re planning entertaining trips to and from Bogeys Ballpark. Ain’t no party like a Sandhills Trolley party!”

In addition to the trolley ticket package, The Bell Tree Tavern will sponsor the new Bell Tree Grill at the ballpark.

“We’re excited to bring our burgers and dogs to fans this year,” said Dan Adams, owner of the Bell Tree. “We want to be the pregame and postgame headquarters for all Bogey fans. The grill and trolley initiatives are just a start.”

The Trolley Ticket package will be available on opening day, Thirsty Thursdays’ promotions and Father’s Day.

Ticket packages are on sale now at sandhillsbogeys.com. Tickets start at just $15.

Opening day for the Bogeys is May 29 against the Yorkville Coconuts, with the first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
