A crash on Murdocksville Road near Pinehurst sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the intersection with Hardee Branch Road.
According to authorities, a Ford Fusion traveling north on Murdocksville Road T-boned a FirstHealth Chevrolet Express van. A witness says the driver of the FirstHealth vehicle allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries. Murdocksville Road was shut down for about 10 minutes while emergency crews loaded the patients for transport. One lane of Murdocksville Road remained closed while the crash was cleared.
