A two-vehicle accident sent two people to the hospital Monday.
Authorities were called around 2 p.m. to the intersection of Beulah Hill Church Road and Highway 73 in the Eastwood area.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they found both vehicles off the road. Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles.
The drivers were taken to Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Their conditions are unknown at the time. There were no other passengers in the vehicles.
The pickup truck and SUV suffered extensive front end damage.
N.C. Hwy Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
Responding to the scene were Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Moore County EMS, Eastwood Fire and Rescue, and N.C. State Highway Patrol.
