A man from Vass is behind bars on a murder charge after being arrested Tuesday, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
Deputies responded to Circle Drive outside of Vass Tuesday morning.
“During the early morning hours of April 27, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stabbing that had occurred at 284 Circle Drive outside of Vass,” said Fields. “Deputies responded to the incident and upon arrival, two victims were found to be suffering from obvious stab wounds. One victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The other victim died at the scene because of the injuries sustained.”
Thirty-five-year-old Craig Seagraves is being held at Moore County Detention Center without bond after he was arrested the same day and charged with one count of murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.
