Vass man facing charges after drug investigation

A 23-year-old man from Vass was jailed without bond after being arrested on drug charges, said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a statement issued to Sandhills Sentinel.

A drug investigation was conducted in the 4500 block of Lobelia Road in Vass on Tuesday. Detectives seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Jeshub Kimball is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The suspect is expected to appear in court on Dec. 6 to determine pretrial release condition.

Kimball being held without bond is based upon the recently enacted HB813, which came into effect on Oct. 1. Pretrial Integrity Act

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
