Aberdeen man sentenced to 8 years for felony death by motor vehicle in DWI crash

Whispering Pines announced on its website Thursday that vehicle break-ins are on the rise again.

“Over the past couple of nights, neighborhoods in close proximity to Whispering Pines, have seen an increase in vehicle break-ins,” said the Village. “As a reminder, do not leave valuables in your vehicles and make sure the doors are locked.”

The Whispering Pines Police Department made a similar statement in October urging residents to lock their vehicles after several reported break-ins. Those vehicles were unlocked.

The Village did not state if the recent break-ins involved vehicles that were unlocked.

Please call the police department at 910-949-9961 or 911 if you see suspicious activity.
