Westmoore Volunteer Fire Department responded to a rollover crash that left a pickup truck on its side late Tuesday evening. The accident occurred on Browns Mill Road at 9:30 p.m., said the fire department on its Facebook page.
There were two occupants riding in the truck. “Miraculously nobody was pinned in the vehicle,” said the fire department. One person was taken to the hospital by EMS.
The truck ended up in the woods and sustained heavy damage. Emergency crews closed the road while they worked the scene.
Assisting Westmoore Volunteer Fire Department were units with Robbins Fire and Rescue, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Moore County EMS, and N.C. State Highway Patrol.
