No serious injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that left one car overturned in front of CVS in Aberdeen on Sunday night.
The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 1 near the pharmacy. Emergency crews arrived to find one vehicle on its roof in the roadway and another with front-end damage nearby.
The overturned vehicle, a four-door passenger car, sustained damage to its driver’s side and had its airbags deployed in addition to the damage done from flipping.
Traffic was rerouted while crews worked to clear the scene. EMS evaluated two patients for minor injuries.
The Aberdeen Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details were released.Â
Responding units included Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and Aberdeen police.
