Work begins at new Southern Pines 266-unit apartment complex

Work has begun at a new Southern Pines apartment complex called Patrick’s Pointe.

Having gained approval from the mayor and city council members last year, the 25-acre parcel of land along U.S. Highway 1 is poised for transformation. Miami-based Volta Global, a real estate developer, has selected Carolina Commercial Contractors (CCC) as the general contractor for constructing this 266-unit contemporary apartment complex, located just minutes from downtown Southern Pines.

Patrick’s Pointe will feature a range of one, two, and three-bedroom units complemented by amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, and a dog park.

Volta Global, civil engineer LKC, architect Finley Design, and landscape architect Koontz Jones Design collaborated to integrate the culture and heritage of Southern Pines into the design of this multi-family development.

“We’re eager to commence development in Moore County. Our prior multi-family projects in neighboring counties have been highly successful, making significant contributions to the local communities, and we expect nothing less from Patrick’s Pointe,” said Corey Mabus, vice president of construction at CCC.

Anticipating a groundbreaking ceremony in the coming weeks, CCC has outlined an approximately 24-month construction timeline for the project. Upon completion, Patrick’s Pointe will be managed by Greystar, a globally recognized property management firm with a vast portfolio, currently overseeing more than 857,000 multi-family units and student beds worldwide.
