Aberdeen Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at Hardee’s fast food restaurant on N.C. Highway 5 Sunday evening.
The black male suspect who had a handgun fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money before authorities arrived at Pinehurst Plaza around 10 p.m., according to Aberdeen Police Chief Carl Colasacco.
There were no reported injuries.
No other details are available as the investigation is ongoing.
