five Robbins arrested drug investigation

Five people from Robbins were arrested Thursday on several drug charges.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrests Friday.

“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1800 block of North Moore Road,” said Sheriff Fields in a statement. “The executed search warrant was conducted at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”

Arrested were Thomas Burke Edmisten, Donald Ray Edmisten, Matthew Lee Warren, Hailey Ann Allred and Terry Lee Garner.

Thomas Burke Edmisten, 39, is facing charges of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $7,500.

Donald Ray Edmisten, 64, was arrested for possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, two counts of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect’s bond was $100,000.

Warren, 32, was charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was placed under a $2,000 bond.

Allred, 23, was charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $1,500.

Garner, 42, was placed under a $5,000 bond on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in court on June 25 and August 20. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
