Sandhills Community College Flyers volleyball welcomes Katelyn Bunting, a valuable addition to the class of 2024 recruiting class.
Hailing from Pinecrest High School, Katelyn stands at 5’11” and specializes as a middle hitter with five years of volleyball experience, including a notable contribution to five consecutive conference championships during her time at Pinecrest.
Over the course of her high school career, Katelyn did not lose a conference match. Along with volleyball, Katelyn also competes in track and field for Pinecrest and plays volleyball for AC Sandhills.
Coach Alicia Riggan expressed the team’s excitement, stating, “We are so excited to have Katelyn join our Flyers family. She will be a huge asset to our front line, hitting and blocking.”
Choosing SCC for its competitive team and close-knit community, Katelyn looks forward to making lasting connections within Sandhills Community College.
