Investigators seize fentanyl, methamphetamine, suboxone

A drug investigation in Bennett led to the arrest of two individuals, stated the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.

Micah Knepp, 32, and Graciela Lopez, 34, both of Bennett, were arrested on Nov. 7.

Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department obtained a search warrant for the 700 block of N.C. Highway 22 outside of Bennett. They seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, suboxone, and drug paraphernalia.

Knepp’s secured bond was set at $101,500. He is facing charges of trafficking in opium or heroin, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lopez was placed on a 48-hour hold pending bond on charges of trafficking in opium or heroin, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), felony possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects are due in court on Dec. 1 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
