Joint investigation leads to drug arrest

A man was arrested on drug charges during a home search on Clarence Road in Robbins on Nov. 14.

A joint investigation by the Moore County Probation and Parole and the Moore County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the discovery of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Twenty-four-year-old Travis English was placed at the Moore County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold, said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a press release. 

English, from Robbins, faces charges of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was also served with a probation violation.

He is due in court on Nov. 29 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
