Micahla Kitchen, PA-C, joins Central Carolina Sports & Orthopedic Medicine

Micahla Kitchen, PA-C, has joined Central Carolina Sports & Orthopedic Medicine effective Tuesday, Oct. 3.

Kitchen joins the practice of Richard Slusher, DO, orthopedic surgeon. She specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, fracture care, total joint replacement surgery and injections, and treating patients ages 4+ through geriatrics ages 65+.

Kitchen received her master of physician assistant studies from High Point University and her bachelor’s degree from Francis Marion University. She was a four-year letter winner with Francis Marion’s women’s soccer team and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society.

A product of Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, she has been highly involved with local athletic clubs. She enjoys staying active and spending time on the water.
