Moore County Chamber professionals honored for service, leadership

Three Moore County Chamber of Commerce staff members were recently honored at a 2026 Staff Leadership Development Conference held in Columbia, S.C. The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) recognized chamber professionals from across North Carolina and South Carolina.

Among those honored were Linda Parsons, Jana Walding, and Jonathon Lewis from the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, who have a combined 40 years of service and have helped shape the organization’s growth, strengthen the business community, and expand programs that support Moore County employers, workforce development, leadership initiatives, and community engagement.

CACCE Service Awards recognize chamber professionals at each five-year milestone for their dedication to the chamber industry and the communities they serve. Parsons has 25 years of service, Walding has 10, and Lewis has 5.

“Years of service in the Chamber industry represent more than longevity; they represent relationships built, businesses supported, programs created, and lasting impact within the community,” said Linda Parsons, president and CEO of the Moore County Chamber, in a news release. “I am incredibly proud of Jana and Jonathon, and grateful to serve alongside a team that is so committed to Moore County and our business community.”
