Moore County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Detention Officers, Moore County Internet Technology Department, and Public Safety competed in the Spartan Super Race.

“Team Locked Up”, as they called themselves, completed the course that consisted of 8.2 miles of obstacles over a 2000′ elevation grade.  The team, led by Captain Corporal Mary Sheffield, ran up hills, through creeks, rivers, and helped each other climb obstacles in a display of character building teamwork.

The 3 hour race was held in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.
