North Moore's Ashlee Dyer Joins Flyers Volleyball

Sandhills Community College Flyers volleyball welcomes Ashlee Dyer. Ashlee played at North Moore High School. In the fall of 2024, Ashlee will bring her six years of volleyball experience and skills as an outside hitter to the Flyers.

Ashlee’s decision to play for SCC was influenced by a desire to stay close to home and the appeal of the coaching staff. During her high school career, she excelled on the volleyball court and lettered in basketball during her freshman and sophomore years, adding some versatility. In her senior season, Ashlee was named all-conference by the coaches of the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A conference.

Off the court, Ashlee plans to major in nursing. When asked about her expectations at SCC, she expressed enthusiasm for the volleyball program and an interest in playing beach volleyball as well.

Head coach Alicia Riggan says, “We are so excited to welcome Ashlee to the Flyer family. She is going to bring power and quickness to our front line.”
