Mr. Abbas Mirian, 88, of Pinehurst, passed away at ManorCare in Pinehurst on Sunday, June 24th.
A graveside service will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 1105 Morganton Rd. Southern Pines, on Wednesday, June 27th, at 10:00 A.M.
Abbas was born in Ghazvin, Iran on December 15, 1929 to the late Mustafa Mirian and Rubabeh Jalilvand. In 1986, he moved to America and lived in Ohio and Pennsylvania before moving to Moore County in the late 1990s, to be closer to his son and daughter.
Abbas was the loving husband of the late Fakhri Tabie. He was the father of Fattah Mirian, wife Diania, of Pinehurst, Farhad Mirian, wife Roudy, of Michigan and Farnaz Mirian of Pinehurst. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Aresh, Armon, Victoria and Ariana.
