Albert W. Johnson, of Aberdeen, North Carolina, was born on June 6, 1939, to the late Marion Louise Bowser, and Robert Lee Tynes. He departed this life on August 8, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Albert worked in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years before retiring and later assisted his wife Dr. Jeanette Johnson in their Podiatrist Medical Office in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. He also served as an armor bearer for Bishop C. E. Glover of Mount Bethel Ministries in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In addition to his parents, Marion L. Bowser, and Robert L. Tynes, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Crawley, and Ronald Tynes; aunts, Mary Collins, and Flossie Tynes; and two stepchildren, Greg Garner and Joanna Barber.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife of twenty-seven years, Jeanette Johnson; daughters, Chantay C. Johnson, Tonya J. Pope, Latesha D. Johnson, and Betty Garner; sons, Albert T. Johnson, Shelby C. Grant, Randy Garner (Lisa), Billy Barber (Terri), Wanye Garner (Iris), William Garner (Reba), and David Garner (Lisa); sister, Joyce Fortner (Kenneth), sister-in-law, Delores Crawley; twenty grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
