Caroline Ann Kenn, 72, of Pinehurst, formerly of Inwood, Long Island, NY, passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House. 

She was born November 25, 1945 in Queens, NY to the late Anne and Peter DelGais. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard “Chippy” DelGais. 

Caroline worked in the cosmetology field as a hairdresser for 56 years. She was the co-owner of Carmichael’s Salon in Cedarhurst, Long Island, NY. After moving to North Carolina, Caroline worked at Southern Magnolia Salon in Olmstead Village. Caroline loved entertaining friends, cooking for her family, and admiring her flowers. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Joseph Kenn Jr.; a daughter Dorianne Kenn; a son Joseph Kenn III and wife Angela; a brother Dennis DelGais (Nancy); four grandchildren Joseph Kenn IV (Morgan), Peter Kenn, Doug Harrison, and James Harrison; great-grandchildren Leighton Kenn and Joseph Kenn V; two brothers and one sister.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday April 6th, 2018 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst, NC.
