Mr. Horace Edward Blue, 66, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina was born on July 15, 1951 to the late Mr. William Anderson Blue and Ms. Weader Mae Saunders. He was raised by his loving grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and Erie Blue. He departed this life on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, North Carolina.
Horace attended school in Hoffman, North Carolina until he had to forgo school and work to help support his family. He traveled all over the United States working with horses for many years. In 1999, he relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina to reside with his cousin, Patricia Frederick. He worked in construction, until his health failed.
Horace was a loving person, always joking and having fun. He loved his family dearly. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one brother, William Anderson Blue, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two brothers; Robert and James Satterfield, two sisters; Colette Satterfield and Evelyn Turner, three aunts; Sylvia Dinnerson, Eva Ingram, and Ellen Blue; a cousin, who was like a sister to him, Patricia Frederick; many, many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Jones and Little Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen, North Carolina. The family visitation will be held on hour prior to the memorial service.
