Inglis Kennedy Fowler, a cherished member of the Pinehurst community, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on January 30, 2024. Born in Pinehurst, NC, Inglis was the beloved daughter of Alec and Ruth Kennedy (deceased). She is survived by her loving son, Duncan Fowler, aged 37, also of Pinehurst. Inglis was a cherished sister to Abby Kennedy McDonald, Marion “Bud” Kennedy, and Ival Kennedy, and is preceded in death by siblings Marie Kennedy Manning and Francis Kennedy Yarborough.

Inglis was known throughout Pinehurst for her remarkable talents as a craft artist and florist. Her creativity and skill brought beauty and joy to countless occasions and celebrations. A devoted member of Culdee Presbyterian Church, Inglis exemplified a life of faith, compassion, and service.

Her warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering integrity endeared her to all who knew her. Inglis had a remarkable ability to connect with people and help those in need. A devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend- her love and care knew no bounds.

Inglis Kennedy Fowler leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will be cherished by her family, friends, and the Pinehurst community forevermore. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Culdee Presbyterian Church with Rev. Connie Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will follow at Beulah Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
