Obituary for Kathy Eula Davis Flowers of Cameron

Kathy Eula Davis Flowers, age 68 of Cameron, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Kathy was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, aunt, grandma, and dear friend to all who have known her. She loved so deeply and cared for all as if they were her own. With her kind hands and her open heart, she perfected her art of cooking and baking, showing her love to others by providing her crafted meals. Many knew Kathy through her work and longtime commitment at Mama’s Kitchen where she diligently served many guests, and handfuls who would come just to be in her presence. Later on, her involvement with the Potter’s Hands of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she exhibited her love of Christ, brought an adoring community that surrounded her. Kathy always welcomed all to her family home with warmth and light that blinded darkness, words, laughter, and hugs that would comfort, and especially love that could heal a wounded heart.

Kathy was born in Cumberland County on January 13, 1957 to the late Willard and Dorothy Martin Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Ann Williams and brother, Willard Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Flowers, daughters, Lisa Phillips (Randall) of Lemon Springs, Amber Flowers of the home; sons, Anthony Ray Flowers (Victoria) of Fayetteville, Christopher Wayne Flowers (Jennifer) of Carthage; sisters, Shirley Dominie (David) of Hope Mills, Linda Davis of Pennsylvania; brothers, Clyde Nostrandt (Patty) of Maryland, Charlie Peyton (Christine) of Virginia, Bobby Davis of Goldsboro, Mike Davis (Gail) of Cameron; three grandchildren, James, Stefanie, Aria; one great-grandchild, Diana.
