Mary Ellen Beckett Lorion, 93, of Seven Lakes, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her residence. She lived a long beautiful life and died of natural causes.
Mary was born in Flint, Michigan to Lloyd James Beckett and Mary “Edna” Ryan Beckett.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Everyone always appreciated her kind and generous nature. Her family is most grateful for her loving nature and her humble spirit. She is praised by her children for being such a great mother. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Lorion; two sons, Michael James Lorion and Matthew Stuart Lorion; and all of her brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Mark Gregory Lorion (wife Jan); daughter, Lori Lorion; grandchildren, Joshua Lorion, Lisa Bridenbaker, Timothy Lorion, Erik Lorion, and Nicole Lorion; daughter-in-laws, Sandy, Rosie and Nellie.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Mary’s caregivers, Amy Weber and Melissa Herd for your kind and compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel in the Pines, Devonshire Columbarium, 581 Seven Lakes Drive, Seven Lakes, NC 27376.
