Phillip J. Hause, 31, of Southern Pines, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
He was born November 29,1991 in Pinehurst to Alan and Priscilla Hause. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Jack and Dorothy Horner, Gilbert and Jane Hause, all of Pinehurst.
Phillip is a 2010 graduate of Pinecrest High School, where he played JV Basketball and Varsity Football, and All Conference his Senior year.
Phillip is survived by his mother, Priscilla; father, Alan; brother, Alex; and half-brother, Brian Williford.
Phil as he was known by his friends, was an avid Duke Blue Devils Basketball fan. He always brought a smile and a helping hand to everyone. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed doing landscaping work and playing golf. He was a “gentle giant” and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at Boles Funeral Home on Friday, September 22, 2023. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 PM. A service will begin at 4:30 PM. A reception will follow the service at the family home from 5:00 -7:00 PM.
