Rita Carol Jacuzzi-Huber (Nonni) age 64, of Whispering Pines, found her final peace on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

She was born in Berkley, California on October 2, 1953 to the late Aldo and Granuccia Jacuzzi where she spent many years making memories with her California Bracciotti family. She later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas with her family where she graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy. In 1998, she met the love of her life, Jeffery Lynn Huber, and moved to North Carolina where she made Il Villa Toscana in Whispering Pines her forever home.

Rita had a love for life and lived it to the fullest extent. She approached everything in life with beauty and enthusiasm. She filled her life with creativity and art, whether through dance, photography, music, painting, or cooking. It was one of her greatest joys to travel the world and enjoy the beauty this earth had to offer. Her biggest passion in this world was helping others, giving selflessly and making every person she met a part of her family. She loved people and had a heart of pure gold.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Huber, and her daughter Dayna Abraham and husband, Jason, of IL, her son James McCann and wife, Jessica, of NC, her son Paxton Brinkley of Fl, and her son Adrian Black of NC; her brothers, Roy Jacuzzi and wife, Deeann, of CA, and Victor Jacuzzi and wife, Sandy, of AR; her sister, Leslie Vanni and husband, Joe, of NY; and her five grandchildren, David, Elijah, Hannah, Caiden and Flora.

She is also survived by her two beloved dogs, Rosaria and Sophia which always could be found nestled beside her or in her lap. More than anything, she is survived by a host of other family and friends around the world, where Rita never met a stranger.

Rita’s family would like to express sincere appreciation to their extended family members, Carol Christman, Angie Wilson, and Robyn Michael who gave unending care to Rita.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00PM-7: 00 PM at Il Villa Toscana (her family home).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Foundation 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20005 or her alma mater, Mount St. Mary Academy 3224 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72205.
