Crains Creek Fire Department had a busy Friday. The department responded to three different car wrecks before the sun went down.
The second wreck of the day occurred at Gravel Pit Road and Lobelia Road outside of Vass.
“Upon arrival of engine 232, the vehicle was on its wheels but had rolled, and the driver was out walking around with minor scrapes,” said Crains Creek Fire Department on its Facebook page. “The driver refused transport, and all units cleared upon arrival of units from the military base.”
The first wreck Crains Creek responded to was when a mail truck flipped on its side in the early morning hours. The other wreck was a fender-bender.
