Three individuals were arrested after a probation-search at a residence on Merritt Drive in Carthage, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

The agencies conducting the search were Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina Probation and Parole, and they seized five bindles of heroin, two grams of cocaine, 19 dosage units of oxymorphone, four dosage units of hydromorphone, two grams of marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

According to Sheriff Godfrey, deputies arrested Robert Charles Schultz, age 28, Jamil Muhaimin-Malik Ismail, age 32, and Darian Jade Wood, age 20. Schultz lives on Poplar Street in Carthage, Ismail lives on Merritt Drive in Carthage, and Wood lives on Ray’s Bridge Road in Carthage.

Schultz was charged with: possession with the intent to sell and deliver heroin, felony possession of heroin, possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, two-counts of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled-substance (oxymorphone-hydromorphone), possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and the possession of drug paraphernalia. Schultz was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $35,000.00 secured bond.

Ismail was charged with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and the possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ismail was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $1,000.00 secured bond.

Wood was charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $500.00 secured bond.

All three individuals have an August 22, 2017 District Court date.
