Three arrested after drug investigation

Three people from Carthage were arrested Wednesday after a drug investigation and are facing 24 charges between them.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a news release that “Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug investigation in the 4100 block of NC Highway 211,” in the Seven Lakes area.

Law enforcement seized Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, Buprenorphine and Naloxone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. 

Kylie Bean, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of sell schedule III controlled substance, two counts of deliver schedule III controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, four counts of conspire to sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substance, possess marijuana up to ½ ounce, possess marijuana paraphernalia, possess drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor child abuse, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Bean’s bond was set at $10,000.

Monica Lopez, 31, was charged with four counts of conspire to sell/Deliver schedule III controlled substance, and she was placed under a $5,000 bond.

Kane Avonce, 24, was charged with four counts of conspire to sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on December 16 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
