Detectives find fentanyl, meth in Eagle Springs search

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of three individuals following a search in Eagle Springs.

On Dec. 14, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Possum Holler Road in Eagle Springs. During the search of the residence, detectives located suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, oxycodone, clonazepam, alprazolam, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Heather Locklear, 63, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II-controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance- (oxycodone), simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance- (clonazepam), simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance- (alprazolam), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Locklear was committed to the Moore County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold with a district court date of Jan. 4

Michael Alston, 60, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Alston was committed to the Moore County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold with a district court date of Jan. 4.

Brianna Hoskie, 23, Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hoskie was committed to the Moore County Detention Center on a $1,500 secured bond with a district court date of Jan. 4.

Fields said 48-holds are based upon the recently enacted HB813, which came into effect on Oct. 1.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
