Two people were arrested Wednesday after Moore County Sheriff’s Office detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the Star area and reportedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Detectives searched a residence in the 100 block of Cody Lane on Sept. 9 as part of a drug investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
James Britt, 61, of Star, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held without bond under a 48-hour hold and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Sept. 30.
Christy White, 52, of Star, was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 30.
All charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
