An early morning fire shook a remote community on Mersadies Lane in Cameron on Monday morning.
Emergency responders were alerted to a mobile home fire at approximately 6:45 a.m. and arrived to find two mobile homes with flames showing just outside of Moore County. Though crews began their attack on the flames, at least two homes and an RV were destroyed by the intense fire.
“While responding, heavy black smoke was seen from a distance,” said Crains Creek Fire Department on its Facebook page.
