On Monday, September 23, Carol Dowd of Botanicals gave a program for Loblolly Garden Club members at Valerie Mountcastle’s home.
Dowd explained her experience working with ‘Art in Bloom’ exhibitions throughout North Carolina with a video. She showed the members her method of matching a floral arrangement to a painting.
President Sarah Prestipino (left in picture) showed her the eagle painting which Dowd (right) used to create the floral art in bloom for the members.
Lunch was provided by members Jan Klukok, Vicky Byrd and Joanne Mackara.
