Momma Sasha joined Paws of the Pines in late September but surprised them by having seven beautiful puppies just a week after joining the rescue’s pack. Now that all the puppies have found trial adoptions, it’s Sasha’s turn to find her forever home. However, she is heartworm-positive and will undergo treatment after being spayed. Sasha will require crate rest for six weeks post-treatment.
Sasha is a fabulous girl, but she does have some assertive traits. The rescue group believes she may be better suited with more submissive and easy-going animals. She is believed to be a hound mix, and her driven personality makes her unsuitable for homes with small animals. However, she gets along well with other dogs and children. Sasha enjoys coexisting with her people and will make an excellent companion for a family.
