Margaret Elizabeth McLeod, 98, of Aberdeen, NC passed away peacefully January 23, 2020, at her niece’s home in Fort Mill, SC.
Margaret was born March 5, 1921 in Aberdeen, NC to the late Daniel James McLeod, Sr and Lucy Belle Caddell McLeod.
Margaret is survived by her niece Georgianne Howell and nephew Scott McLeod.
Margaret was a life-long resident of Aberdeen and member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. She worked as an Accounting Technician for the Department of Defense and later retired from the US Postal Service in Aberdeen. She was a faithful supporter of The ASPCA and local humane societies.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 11:00AM at Boles Funeral Home, 425 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, NC.
