Tyler Jay Crowell, 27, of Smithfield, NC passed away suddenly on Friday, December 2, 2022 at UNC Healthcare in Smithfield.
Tyler was born November 9, 1995 in Syracuse, NY.
He is survived by his parents Eric and Sue Middleton; siblings, Dustin, twin brother Alex, Ryan, and Sean; grandparents, “Nana” Bessie Crowell and Earl and Jeanette Middleton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
He was preceded in death by his “Bampa” Donald Crowell in 2019.
Tyler grew up in Southern Pines and attended Pinecrest High School. He was a talented guitarist. He also loved listening to music and drawing. He was a loving son, brother and grandson and will be dearly missed by his family and multitude of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Boles Funeral Home, 425 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines, NC 28387, with Rev. Sammy Frye officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
