A Pinebluff man was arrested for trafficking Cocaine, according to a press release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Alonzo Dale Jones, Jr was arrested on September 5th and was given a $300,000 bond.  Deputies were working on a drug investigation which led them to Simmons Lane in Addor where they searched Jones and seized six ounces of Cocaine, 95 dosage units of Oxycodone, 26 dosage units of Alprazolam, 27 grams of Marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia.  The total street value of the drugs is approximately $11,000.

Jones, age 36 from the 100 block of Simmons Lane, was charged with trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in opiates, possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled-substance, possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled-substance, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor breaking and entering. 

Jones resisted while being arrested and was also charged with resisting a public officer. 

According to arrest records, Jones has a September 12th court date.
