Recovery Awareness Community Day is a free community event in Aberdeen that brings people together, raises awareness about recovery from addiction, and connects individuals and families with resources available throughout Moore County.
On Sept. 28, from 3–7 p.m., meet local organizations, recovery resources, community partners, and people working every day to make recovery possible. Whether you are in recovery, supporting someone you love, looking for resources, or simply want to learn more and support the recovery community, you are welcome.
Recovery affects the whole community, and this day is about connection, hope, and reminding people that no one has to walk the road alone. Come spend the afternoon and help celebrate recovery throughout Moore County.
Food will also be provided, so come by, meet some of the people doing this work locally, and learn more about what is available right here in Moore County.
