Rich is a native of Yonkers, NY and grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BS/AT degree, then joined the US Air Force. After serving our country, he had a long career in industry, primarily with Caterpillar. That position is what brought him to the Sandhills. He has a variety of interests and hobbies, but his passion for community service has been demonstrated with his involvement for many years with Big Brothers of America.
