On Monday, Sheetz, a mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain, officially opened its new store at 1695 U.S. 1 in Southern Pines.
The one-stop shop offers a 6,132-square-foot convenience store, restaurant, and fuel station.
The store employs approximately 30 individuals and is still actively hiring team members.
In honor of this opening, Sheetz donated $2,500 to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Sheetz also made a second donation of $2,500 to the Special Olympics of North Carolina.
Sheetz operates 750+ store locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
