The Southern Pines Police Department is advising citizens to use extra caution this Saturday in the downtown area.

The Annual Blues Crawl event will start at 5:00 pm and ends at 1:00 am, and the town is expecting to see a crowd of 1,500 plus in a small area.

The large crowd will be walking on both sides of Broad Street while sampling different blues musical styles and enjoying the libations and food of the unique restaurants, wine cellars, and pubs each hosting different bands.

The police are advising people to be careful because there will be no street closures.

CC Teneal, Bullfrog McGhee, Kara Grainger, Abe Reid, and Brody Buster are just a few of the artists to perform at the downtown event.
