The Talbooth Street Project is set to begin on April 8. With the first phase of construction, the municipal parking adjacent to 124 N. Poplar St. (Planning Department) and behind 120 N. Poplar St. (The Bakehouse) will be closed for six weeks, weather permitting, announced the Town of Aberdeen.
The project will include drainage improvements, increased parking, street resurfacing, and dumpster enclosure.
Existing on-street parking along Poplar St., Main St., and Sycamore St. will be the primary options. Some additional parking is available at the corner of Knight St. and Poplar St. and off Garrett St. between The Venue and Railhouse Brewery.
