Two arrested after traffic stop leads to discovery of cocaine

A traffic stop led to the arrest of two people on Saturday, June 19.

Antonio Cratsley Jr., 32, of Southern Pines and Caleb Purvis, 36, of Aberdeen, were arrested on drug charges, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

In a news advisory, Fields stated deputies pulled a vehicle over in the 2200 block of Highway 5 in Aberdeen and found cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Cratsley was charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked. His bond was set at $10,000.

Purvis was placed under a $25,000 bond for a charge of felony possession of cocaine.

Suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on June 30 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
