Moore County experienced two shootings hours apart Thursday night sending two people to the hospital.
The first shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday on West Michigan Ave. in Southern Pines.
One male victim was shot and airlifted to a trauma center, according to Southern Pines Police Department. He has since been released from the hospital.
No other details could be given at the time of this article.
The second shooting happened just after midnight on Countryside Drive off of Pinebluff Lake Road outside of Aberdeen.
When authorities arrive on the scene, the male victim had left driving himself to the Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, according to Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
Three suspects entered a home and shot the victim in the leg, according to the department.
He is expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made at this time.
It is unclear if these incidents are related.
